How to Spread the Red

Addiction is a disease that doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, what kind of job you have, or where you live, addiction can affect everyone. It’s important that we all work together to fight this disease. One small way you can help is by wearing your MAA shirt to one of our support group meetings and around your community.

The Problem Of Addiction

Addiction is a serious problem that affects millions of people around the world. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, there are more than 20 million people in the United States alone who suffer from addiction. Out of those 20 million, only a fraction receive treatment. The problem is that addiction is often seen as a moral failing rather than a disease. This stigma prevents many people from seeking help because they are afraid of being judged.

Mother’s Against Addiction seeks to change that by raising awareness about addiction and its causes. We believe that addiction is a disease that should be treated with compassion and understanding. We are working to break down the stigma associated with addiction so that more people will seek treatment. We are also working to educate people about the signs and symptoms of addiction so that they can better understand and support their loved ones who are struggling.

What We're Doing About It

Mothers Against Addiction is committed to making a difference in the lives of those affected by addiction. We are working to change the way society views addiction so that more people will seek treatment. We are also working to educate people about the signs and symptoms of addiction so that they can better understand and support their loved ones who are struggling. In addition, we are working to raise funds for research so that we can find new and better ways to treat this disease.
