About Mothers Against Addiction (MAA)

Mothers Against Addiction is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mothers and families impacted by addiction. Through advocacy, emotional support, and educational resources, we aim to foster healing, hope, and recovery.

We are looking for a Creative Designer to help bring our mission to life visually. This part-time, remote volunteer role is perfect for a passionate and talented designer who wants to make a meaningful difference through creative work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Creation:
    ○ Develop engaging visuals for digital and print use, including social media graphics, flyers, brochures, and newsletters.
    ○ Create branding materials to maintain consistency across all platforms.
  • Website and Digital Media Support:
    ○ Design graphics for MAA’s website, blog posts, and email campaigns.
    ○ Collaborate with the web development team to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
  • Campaign Support:
    ○ Contribute to the visual design of advocacy and awareness campaigns.
    ○ Create compelling graphics to support fundraising and outreach initiatives.
  • Collaboration:
    ○ Work closely with the marketing and communications team to align visuals with organizational goals.
    ○ Bring creative ideas to team meetings and support brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar programs.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, branding, and typography.
  • Experience creating designs for digital and print platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for MAA’s mission and a commitment to supporting families affected by addiction.
  • Ability to dedicate 5-10 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
