About Mothers Against Addiction (MAA)

Mothers Against Addiction is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mothers and families impacted by addiction. Through advocacy, emotional support, and educational resources, we empower families to heal, recover, and rebuild their lives.

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy AI Copywriter to craft compelling, empathetic, and mission-aligned content. This volunteer role is ideal for someone with a passion for writing, experience using AI tools, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation:
    ○ Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Writesonic) to generate and refine written content for MAA’s website, blog, newsletters, social media, and campaigns.
    ○ Edit and tailor AI-generated content to ensure alignment with MAA’s voice, tone, and mission.
  • Storytelling and Messaging:
    ○ Develop heartfelt and engaging stories that highlight the experiences of families affected by addiction.
    ○ Write persuasive content for awareness and fundraising campaigns.
  • Collaboration and Feedback:
    ○ Work with the communications team to align copy with organizational goals.
    ○ Incorporate team feedback to improve content quality and effectiveness.
  • Research and Optimization:
    ○ Use AI tools to generate ideas and drafts while ensuring accuracy and relevance.
    ○ Optimize written content for SEO and digital platforms.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to tone and empathy.
  • Familiarity with AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper) and ability to refine AI-generated content.
  • Experience with SEO and writing for digital platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Passion for MAA’s mission and a commitment to supporting families affected by addiction.
  • Availability to dedicate 5-10 hours per week on a flexible schedule.
